JOIN CLUJ CONNECT RUN VOLUNTEERS TEAM!

Cluj Connect Run invites you to join the team of volunteers organizing this unique running competition that combines the energy of the city streets with the magic of nature trails! You’ll join us for a spectacular race that starts in the heart of tradition—the Ethnographic Park—winds through the legendary trails of Hoia Forest, and follows the river along the banks of the Someș.

Runners will compete in one of the competition’s races: 21 km, 10 km, 5 km, or the Family Run (designed for children and their parents). No matter your experience in organizing sporting events, we’d love to have you join us!

Where and how can you get involved?

You can choose the area where you’d like to help out:

• The Start/Finish area in the Ethnographic Park
• Along the course (sections in Hoia Forest or along the banks of the Someș River)
• A specific activity you’d like to be directly involved in or learn more about:

Photography: Every event needs passionate photographers to capture the excitement at the Start/Finish area or the special moments along the route. If you enjoy capturing the energy of the runners in Hoia Forest or along the banks of the Someș River, we’d love to have you on our team!

Route Marking & Cleanup (pre- and post-event): Each section of the course (21 km, 10 km, 5 km, and Family) will be marked with special tape to guide runners safely. It’s very important that the courses be clearly marked before the start.

Start / Finish & Race Kit Pickup: You’ll welcome runners at registration and race kit pickup, and on race day you’ll provide them with energy and encouragement at the Start and hand out their finisher medals at the Finish!

Aid Stations and Course Marshals: You’ll help set up cups of water/energy drinks and fruit at the aid stations or guide competitors at key points along the course.
